Data Deletion Request
Ciboora is a restaurant operating system provided by Umami Solutions Private Limited. This page explains how restaurant owners, staff users, testers, and other app users can request deletion of account data and app-related personal data associated with Ciboora.
How to request data deletion
Send an email to support@ciboora.com with the subject line Ciboora Data Deletion Request.
Please include the following information so that we can verify and process your request:
- Your full name.
- Your registered business email or staff login email used in Ciboora.
- Your restaurant / outlet name, if applicable.
- The type of request: account deletion, staff user deletion, restaurant outlet data deletion, or test account deletion.
What data may be deleted
Depending on the verified request and the user's role, we may delete or anonymise:
- Login profile details such as name, email address and phone number.
- Staff user records created for testing or restaurant operation.
- Test restaurant / outlet data created during evaluation.
- App usage data linked to the requesting user, where deletion is technically and legally permitted.
Data that may need to be retained
Some records may need to be retained where required for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, audit, billing, support, or contractual reasons. For example, invoice, payment, subscription, restaurant transaction, or audit records may be retained for the period required by applicable law. Where full deletion is not possible, we may anonymise or restrict access to personal data where appropriate.
Processing time
We will acknowledge deletion requests and may ask for reasonable verification before processing. Verified requests are generally processed within 30 days, unless additional time is required due to legal, security, account ownership, or operational reasons.
